Certification Maintenance Specialist III

Location: NCCPA is a hybrid work environment with our headquarters located in Johns Creek, Georgia. NCCPA has determined that the telecommuting status of this position is hybrid which means that employees in hybrid positions are allowed to split their work hours between work remotely and working onsite at the NCCPA headquarters.

The duties of this position require the candidate to report on-site to the Johns Creek headquarters on a weekly basis therefore the chosen candidate will need to reside in or relocate to the Metro Atlanta area.

Our Team
The Certification Maintenance Team works diligently to manage the operational processes that support the Physician Assistant's certification maintenance requirements according to established NCCPA standards. We are a team of customer service focused, highly organized multi-taskers with a great attention to detail.

As the Certification Maintenance Specialist III, you will manage the operational processes that support the Physician Assistant's certification maintenance requirements according to established NCCPA standards. 

How Will You Make a Difference? You will…
  • Assist in the review and revision of all Standard Operation Procedures for the department. 
  • Partner with Director to coordinate the opening and closing of audit batches for the Certification Maintenance department. 
  • Perform all aspects of the Credentialing, CME Audit, State Board Portal, and Conference Logging processes and procedures. 
  • Monitor CME audit process for possible process improvements, maintain a list for enhancements, and discuss quarterly with the Director to determine if implementation of suggested changes/enhancements is feasible. 
  • Trains current or new team members on all responsibilities, processes, and procedures within the Certification Maintenance department. 
  • Performs UAT for projects and other technology releases impacting the processes or
  • Assists Director with reminder letters to include, scheduling, reviewing of PA records, proofing letter content, and processing, to ensure communications are delivered accurately and timely. 
  • Retrieve files and perform entry of Self-Assessment and Performance Improvement activities into BackOffice and PA records. 
  • Maintains schedule for opening audit batches, makes changes as needed, and monitors schedule to ensure that audit batches are opened as scheduled. 
  • Assist department with audits when needed to ensure files are completed within established timeframe. 
Hard Skills You Will Have
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or healthcare related field. A higher level of work experience in the related field may be substituted for education. 
  • Five or more years of professional work experience. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, and use of the internet 
  • Advanced reading comprehension and ability to read and interpret organizational policies and procedures 
  • Advanced ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and successfully handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Compensation Range: $52,007.00-  $56,901.00
